Description: The
Marbled Salamander ranges in size from 3.5-4.5 inches. Coloration is
black with white horizontal bands running across the body. The
male's bands are white, while the female's are grayish. The body is
short and stout.
Habitat: Found in a variety of habitats, but rarely seen. Behavior: Breeds in the fall. |
